The newly acquired Prince Fielder will be going home where his father Cecil Fielder shocked the world in 1990 hitting 51 homeruns and 132 rbi's, while being paid only $1.25 million. The contract Prince and the Detroit Tigers just agreed upon of $214 million almost 10 times larger than his fathers will need to have the same effect. The elder played 7 seasons in Detroit slugging 245 homeruns and 758 rbi's for the Tigers.
