Baseball Babe #85 honors Hector Sanchez San Francisco Giants 2 Spring Training Home Runs
Prospect heading for the big club or just showing them what is talents could do. The San Francisco Giants 22 year old catcher Hector Sanchez brought his bat with him on Saturday, March 11th slugging two home runs. (That's why he got two babes) The Giants taking on the Seattle Mariners ran into a catcher that wanted to prove he can do more than catch! After agreeing to a deal on friday Sanchez wanted to let them know he could back up Buster Posey if needed. Veterans Eli Whiteside and Chris Stewart have the inside track but you may see Sanchez in limited action if they falter and he will bring his bat!

Baseball Babe #35 San Francisco Giants Honoring Tim Lincecum
The "Freak" did his thing and freaked out on the New York Mets with 12 strikeouts giving him 3 double digit strikeout games this year and 29 in his career. San Francisco Giants fans saw history made he he passed Christy Mathewson for the most double digit strikeouts in team history.
Tim Lincecum helped the Giants defeat the Mets 2-0 with his 7 innings of no run ball!
